Built on Faith, Driven by Love

Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. We seek to follow his way in all we do, learning to teach as Jesus taught, serve as Jesus served, and love as Jesus loves. Our life together is centred on Scripture, worship, and daily discipleship.

God’s Word shapes our beliefs and our lives. Through faithful preaching and study, we grow in wisdom and obedience so that God can work through us in Valparaiso and beyond. We welcome learners at every stage of faith.

Prayer is our first response, not our last resort. We pray as Jesus prayed, asking for guidance, healing, courage, and compassion. In prayer we find God’s presence and power, and we carry one another before the Lord.

The good news is for all people. We share Christ with words and actions, meeting needs locally and partnering with global mission. We are here for the strong and the sturdy, the lost and the lonely, the bruised and the broken.

God calls us into a caring community. In Christ’s family we are known, loved, and sent to care for others. From children to seniors, every person has a place to belong and a purpose to serve. God does not call the equipped; God equips the called.
